At Yardstick, we've defined dog hospitality.

We're a boutique, suites-only dog hotel built around personalized care, elevated service, and a calmer, more thoughtful experience for both dogs and their humans. We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead one of our established Nashville locations and continue delivering the exceptional hospitality Yardstick is known for.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who's excited by growth, enjoys building strong teams, and wants to make a meaningful impact as Yardstick continues to expand.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of leadership or people management experience
• Strong operational and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• High integrity, reliability, and accountability
• Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Excited by growth and motivated by ownership and responsibility
• Pet industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (we're open 365 days a year)

What You'll Do

• Lead the opening and day-to-day management of our new Franklin location
• Hire, train, and develop a team of approximately 12 full- and part-time employees
• Create a strong team culture centered around hospitality, accountability, and care
• Own scheduling, labor management, and daily operations
• Deliver exceptional customer and guest experiences
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and well-run facility
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and facility upkeep
• Build relationships within the Franklin community through outreach and local partnerships
• Work closely with leadership on operational improvements and company growth initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• Target compensation of approximately $65,000 annually, including performance-based bonus incentives
